We have Mangalitsa piglets available! We are passionate about our Mangalitsa pigs! We believe that Mangalitsas are the most incredible breed of pig in the world! They have great dispositions and personalities.
They also make great mothers.
We have been raising this pig breed on our small homestead farm for 6 years and would never choose any other breed.
The Mangalitsa is actually regarded as a super heritage breed and is considered a lard pig.
Not only is the lard AMAZING and very versatile, but the meat is considered the tastiest pork in the world, often being called the "Kobe beef of pork".
The meat of the Mangalitsa is reddish, highly marbled with creamy white fat, and is high in omega-3 fatty acids, natural antioxidants, and an abundance of vitamin D.
We raise our pigs primarily on their own ½ acre pasture where they forage for their food.
We also supplement their diet with garden produce, raw milk from our cows, hay, and grain.
We also do NOT vaccinate or give antibiotics or growth hormones.
We have 2 litters of piglets available.
All are Red.
The piglet’s sire is a registered Red boar with MBOAR, and we have lineage on their dams.
We also have amazing ground pork available for $6/lb.
and we are selling our registered male (since we are needing new breeding stock).
Our male is incredibly nice, docile, and he’s beautiful.
